Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of GraftTrack and grafttrack.co.uk. By using GraftTrack, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What GraftTrack is
GraftTrack is a work-recording and productivity service that can help users log shifts, breaks, overtime, estimated earnings, mileage, leave, sites, vehicles, plant, documents and related information. Some features may be provided as beta or preview functionality while the product is being developed.
2. Estimates, not payroll or tax advice
Pay, overtime, take-home, tax, National Insurance, mileage reimbursement and other financial figures shown by GraftTrack are estimates based on the information and settings available to the app. They may not reflect your employer’s payroll rules, tax authority calculations, deductions, benefits, expenses, tax-code changes or other circumstances. GraftTrack is not payroll, accounting, legal, employment or tax advice. You are responsible for checking important figures against payslips, contracts, HMRC guidance or a qualified adviser where appropriate.
3. Your information and accuracy
You are responsible for information you enter into GraftTrack and for checking that dates, hours, rates, overtime rules, mileage and other records are accurate before relying on them. Do not upload content that you do not have permission to store or that unlawfully contains another person’s confidential information.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and device secure and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse or maintain the service.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use GraftTrack to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, scrape or overload systems, circumvent security controls, or use the service in a way that could harm GraftTrack or other users.
6. Uploaded content
You retain your rights in information and files you upload. You give GraftTrack the limited permission needed to host, copy, process and transmit that content solely to provide, secure, support and maintain the service. We do not claim ownership of your work records or uploaded documents.
7. Availability and changes
GraftTrack is under active development. Features may change, be improved, be removed or occasionally be unavailable. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. During beta testing, you should keep appropriate independent records of important work or financial information.
8. Backups and data loss
Where GraftTrack offers backup, export or cloud-sync features, you should use them where appropriate. You remain responsible for retaining any records you are legally or contractually required to keep. We are not a substitute for an employer’s official payroll, tax or statutory record-keeping systems.
9. Intellectual property
GraftTrack, its branding, interface, software and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted by these terms, no ownership rights in GraftTrack are transferred to you.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using GraftTrack at any time. You may request deletion of your account and cloud data by contacting support@grafttrack.co.uk. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, serious misuse or material breach of these terms.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, GraftTrack is provided on an “as available” basis and we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user-entered information, reliance on estimated pay/tax figures, employer payroll decisions, third-party service failures, or loss of data where reasonable backup/export options were available. If you use GraftTrack for business purposes, additional limitations permitted by law may apply.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled and forms part of the information governing your use of GraftTrack.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law that applies where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as GraftTrack develops. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice of significant changes. Continuing to use GraftTrack after updated terms take effect means the updated terms apply to future use.
